The teens in the room is probably one of my favorite scenes in the whole series. I think the writer captured what it's like to be a teen. I know that Ran and them are also teens, but this is the first time we really get to see some teenagers actually goofing off.

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of ShinRan ship. I just hate how common childhood friends became couples here in this anime.
But don't get me wrong. I love Shinichi and mostly Ran, I love them both individually.

Ya I get what you mean. I'm not a fan of ShinRan pairing myself because it's really unfair for Ran to wait for Shinichi and also worse for him to see the girl he likes and still cant do a thing but the "childhood lovebirds" is such a common troupe that almost all the couples have some childhood connection.

The two pairings from the police force, hattori and kazuha, also Kaito kid and his childhood friend.

It would have been more entertaining if both were in love with two different people.

Would love to see Shin and Sera i love her alot she is fun smart super cute strong and so on:)

Watching this ep always makes me happy and sad at the same time because the animation quality/facial expressions/colours/lines are all so good, and then I compare it to the other episodes (fillers but canon eps too) and realise how much the overall quality has dropped. Like even the moonlight sonata remake wasn't that good. Episode ONE was probably peak modern Conan anime :/

nahhhhhhhhh no wayyy not even close. i started Conan back in March this year for the very first time and i've been watching 3 and 4 episodes a day since then. you can easily tell the 1996 technology and techniques from Season 1. compare that to even the average filler episode in S28 and 29 and the differences are VAST! not just in the character designs but everything else.

I would argue some of the art direction today isn’t bad but a remake of an episode isn’t a good idea in general could have been done as a special
